Welcome to Bravehearted Beauty. I’m Linsey. And this page needs a significant update. For now, let me just say this: my story isn’t what I thought it would be, and it’s not the story I wanted to write. It’s not the “happily ever after” of my little girl dreams, not the story I envisioned when I said, “I do” 20 years ago, and not the story I said yes to when I left all that was familiar in my hometown of Houston and moved to a small farm in Franklin, Tennessee, six years ago.
BUT GOD.
My story is His story, and He’s not finished yet. How do I know? One, because I’m still breathing. Two, because I’m choosing to take God at His word, daring to believe in His wild restoration and glorious redemption of broken stories. Some days it looks pretty unlikely. And that’s right where Bravehearted Beauty needs to rise up and do her brave thing. The bravest thing I ever do is BELIEVE.
It’s been awhile since I’ve wielded my beauty hunting sword, and even longer since I’ve written any part of my story, but today, on July 15, 2018, I feel compelled by my God to step into the story He is writing and return to the things He made me to do.
Honored you are {still} here,
